Immediate Manager: E-Commerce Manager MEWA
Purpose of the Job:
The eCommerce Specialist for the UAE executes brands strategies across all E-commerce Channels (e.g. Talabat, Amazon, Carrefour.).
The role is responsible for infusing an entrepreneurial mindset across both key account management and digital marketing to deliver on the UAE e-commerce business plan. To drive the overall marketing strategy of ‘Reach more people, more often, for longer and in more occasions’.
Additionally, this role is responsible for key account management of Platform partners, by developing and executing joint business plans; ensuring on-brand executional excellence as per the company’s Global brand Guidelines and identifying and capturing new opportunities, among others.
This joint sales and marketing role will ultimately be responsible for building the company’s online shopper base and driving retention to deliver on the business plan.
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:
Making sure that our e-commerce perfect online store (e.g availability, visibility & buy ability) among platforms is executed as per the company’s Global brand Guidelines
Stock and PO management – work closely with the distribution partner to make sure that the demand plan gets fulfilled
New Business – Work closely with the DP all the way from the customer creation form to account creation to platform activation.
Key Account manager
Annual contract negotiation and ensuring that all e-commerce counterparts are secured (e.g assortement range, RSP, trade up..)
KA management including monthly meetings, develop strong relationship with the platform, translate Data insights into actionable ecosystem by recommending most suitable tactics/targeting.
Execute ecommerce marketing calendar across top 5 platforms, pick early signs of what’s not working and optimize, and what’s working and amplify
Owning our digital online store and make sure that the platforms are compliant with the listing of the company as per our global brand guidelines at all time.
Execute the best in class digital Performance marketing to existing and prospective company audiences across our digital channels and assets that tie back to eCommerce. Drive the overall strategy of ‘More people, More often, For longer’ through a structured awareness, interest, purchase, and loyalty plan. Manage pricing, creative optimization and implementation throughout.
Demonstration of quantitative and qualitative benefits across WHO (deeper targeting), WHAT (better message optimization) and HOW (more accurate performance measures) of Digital Advertising
Owning the search on key platforms and making sure to intercept the user when typing any competitor, category or flavoured keyword
Education and Experience:
2+ years experience in e commerce key account manager or Digital Marketing
Clear understanding of digital advertising with special focus on building a consumer base and driving retention via eCommerce ecosystems
Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders on all organizational levels and with different cultural backgrounds, quick learner, self-motivated and able to work independently
An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’
Fluent in English & Arabic is a must
